AN INTERESTING RE-UNION.

The Rev. A. M. Dalrymple, who has been in charge, of the pastorate of the Presbyterian Church at Waitapeka for some time, and who is at present on a holiday visit to England, was entertained at a social reunion in the Presbyterian Church, Windmilllane, Smethwick (Staffordshire), on August 20th (says the Otago Daily Times). For eighteen years beforo his departure for New Zealand some twenty-one years ago, Mr Dalrymple was pastor of the church at Smethwick, and not only did he inspire and superintend the various organisations connected with the church, but he did much useful work outside. The re-union was largely attended, many people travelling some distance to renew their acquantance with their old and highly-esteemed pastor, and the greeting accorded the visitor was hearty and sincere. During the evening Mr Dalrymple was presented with a handsome illuminated address as a token of the unabated affection and esteem of his formef congregation, and ho was also the recipient of a gold brooch for Mrs Dalrymple. The Rev. Mr Dalrymple occupied the pulpit of his old church at the evening service on August 19th.
