FAUST BY BIOGRAPH.
Scenes from the well-known opera, " Faust," will be reproduced by biograph, at the Masterton Town Hall, on Friday evening next, by the Cooper Biograph Company. Speaking of the performance, the Post says:
-The patrons of the performance showed great appreciation of the entertainment afforded, applause and laughter being the continuous accompaniment of the items given. The reproduction of scenes from the well-known opera "Faust" was beautifully done, the pictures being clear and coloured, and the film lengthy. There were numerous other pictures, ranging in treatment " from grave to gay, from lively to srvere." Interspersed with the records of tho biograph were vocal contributions by Miss Louie Fishor whose voice was and strong, and her enunciation clear.
