The financial statement and annual report were not submitted, but will be dealt with at a future committee meeting.

Sellar ; Committee, Messrs S. A. Noble-Campbell, J. Bradbury, F. Robertson, J. Kelliher, E. Dixon, A. Williams, Fish and A. E. Wilton ; Auditors, Messrs Croft and C. Perry. Mr Noble-Campbell suggested that efforts be made to have the St. Matthew's amateur athletes incorporated with the Association. Mr E. Dixon mentioned that the High School might be approached in respect to a similar movement. It was resolved, on the motion of Mr J. Bradbury, seconded by Mr G. Sellar, that it be a recommendation to the incoming committee to put a school teams championship race on the programme, with a view to fostering the amateur athletic spirit in schools, and that headmasters in the district be communicated with by circular asking for their co-operation in the matter. The incoming committee was recommended to arrange an evening run as soon as possible. The annual sports gathering was fixed for January 22nd, 1907. A vote of thanks to the retiring ofiicers was recorded, and a similar compliment to the chair terminated the meeting.
