Greytown Stock Sale
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held their fortnightly sale at the Greytown yards on Monday. The entry was chiefly composed of young cattle, for which there was a very fair demand, only one line failing to sellSpringing heifers reached 80s ; springing cows, 83s; 18mos empty heifers, 33s to 355; mixed yearlings, 30s to 335; 2yr empty heifers, -10s ; weaners, 19s.
