High Commissioner's Report
The Department of Industries and Coin - merce has received the following cable from the High Commissioner, dated London, June 30th: — There is little change to report in New m Zealand mutton. The average price p\ for Canterbury mutton, today, is 3«d per lb; North Island brands, 3 J d per lb ; Australian, 3£d; and River Plate, 3£d per lb. The average price of Canterbury brand lamb is 5d ; other than Canterbury, 4|d per lb. The beef market is dull. Stocks of New Zealand beef on band are light. The average price for hindquarters is 3£d and forequarters 2j}d per lb.
