CRICKET.

The Suspended Players.

(Received This Mor/iin;/, at I.Hi a.m.) Sydney, Last Night

Advices from Melbourne confirm the statement of a settlement of the dispute as between the Victorian Cricket Association and the Melbourne Club. The Board of Control, however, is not likely to invite an English team unless the New South Wales Association lifts the suspension from players. A prominent member of the Association stated unofficially, to-night, that the suspensions will not be removed, but the more general opinion is that the Association will allow the reinstatement of players rather than forego the visit of an English team.
