Metal Markets.
(Received To-day, at 9.29 a.m.) London, Last Night. Copper—On the spot, £87 ss; three months, £86 ss. Tin—On the spot, £212 7s 6d to £213, three months, £196 15s to £203 15s. The tin market is still excited, with large dealings and heavy buying; orders from all sources. Consumers are buying very largely. There is a strong demand in America, where requirements are still uncovered. The market opened irregular, but closed strong. Pig-iron—sos Id per ton. Silver—2s 6 15-16 d per oz. Lead—£l7. [The quotation for tin is now £80 a ton higher than it was eighteen months ago.]
