MR SEDDON IN AUSTRALIA.

Hearty Welcome from New

Zealanders

Congratulatory Speeches

Sydney, Yesterday,

Mr Seddon arrived to-day, by the Warrimoo, from Wellington, after a pleasant voyage, and in excellent health.

The steamer Commodore, with a largo representative New Zealanders' reception committee and Mr Carruthers (the State Premier), Mr Hogue (Colonial Secretary), Mr O'Sullivan and other prominent men on board, proceeded to the Heads, and accorded Mr Seddon a flattering welcome en route to the wharf.

A large crowd had gathered on the wharf, and warmly greeted Mr Seddon. Congratulatory speeches were made.
