Red Star v. Masterton.
The members of the Masterton Club are requested to attend Gym. practice on Thursday evening next, Avhen special training in scrum and line-out Avork wili be engaged in* With a view to improving both divisions and giving preference to players in form, several changes will probably take place in the senior team before Saturday, so that the necessity of putting in an appearance at Gym. on Thursday is urged on members.
The Red Star and Masterton senior teams meet on the ShoAvgrounds on Saturday next, when an interesting and even game should be Avitnessed. Both Clubs are placing good teams in the field and putting forward every effort to Avin.
With a view to giving the junior members of these Clubs an opportunity of witnessing the senior match, the secretary of the Union has arranged to play both matches on the Showgrounds, provided the juniors undertake to commence play at 1.45 p.m. sharp. Should they fail to do so, they will be obliged to repair to the Park Oval.
The following team will represent the Red Stars :—Walker, Welch, Wrigley, McLachlan, Darville, O'Connell, E. Warner, P. Rose, McKenzie, C. Clarke, Templeton, ton, Hunt, Scorrar, Fulton, and F. Clarke.
