N.Z. PARLIAMENT.
The first session of the sixteenth Parliament of New Zealand will be opened on Wednesday, 27th June. As usual in the case of a new Parliament, the opening will be carried out by commission, which will consist of the Speaker of the Legislative Council (the Hon. C. C. Bowen), and the Hons. A. Pitt, W. H. D. Baillie, G M'Lean, J. D. Ormond, S. T. George, and T. Kelly. The House will elect a Speaker, and the Governor's Speech will be delivered the following day.
