WAIRARAPA DISTRICT COURT.

The quarterly sitting of the Wairarapa District Court will open before His Honor District Judge Kettle on Friday.

There is only one caso to be' heard before a jury, it being Henry Burling, farmer (Alfredton), v. Charles Blake ancl William John' Blake, farmers (Haunui), claim £300, damages sustained through bush fire from defendant's property spreading to plaintiff's. Mr C. A. Pownall appears for the plaintiff, and Messrs Bunny and Dolan for defendants.

A case, to be heard by the Judge alone, is one in which the Kaituna Co-operative Dairy Company seeks to recover from Edgar L. llolmwood the sum of £48, damages sustained through alleged breach of contract. Mr R. K. Jackson appears for plaintiffs and Mr D. K. Logan for defendant.

Probate in the estate of the late Mr William Adams, of Masterton, will be applied for by Messrs Hollings and Prendeville.
