Tho contractor (Mr B. Hathaway) for the street improvements in Parkvillo, is making good progress with tho work. All the stumps have been removed from the side of tho roads, and tho formation is now boing proceeded with.
The contractors for the lown drain have finished, and the amoko lost has boon applied by tho officers of tho Iloiilth Department, with satisfactory results.
Mr J. Frazor, tlio fiovornrnont Valuer, will bo making a valuation of tho town district area next week.
