Hours to be Observed During

Holidays.

The Post and Telegraph Department will observe the following hours of attendance, at Masterton, during the Christmas and New Year holidays : — Christmas Day, December 25th, 1905—Post Office : A close holiday will bo observed. All mails usually despatched on this day will close at 5.30 a.m. on morning of 25th. A delivery of all letters, etc., will be made over the Post Office counter on Saturday evening, 23rd December, between 9.15 and 10.15 p.m. Telegraph Office: Open from sto 5.30 p.m. only. Telephone Exchange: Open from 9 to 10 a.m. only Boxing Day, Tuesday, December 26th, 1905—Post Office: Open from 9 to 10 a.m. for the transaction of all business, except money order and savings bank. All mails for despatch will be closed up to and including S a.m. One complete delivery by letter-carriers will be made, commencing at 8 a.m. Telegraph Office : Open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for despatch after 8 p.m. to be handed in at back entrance. Telephone Exchange : Open from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight (continuously). New Year's Day, Monday, January Ist, 1906- Post Office: A close holiday will be observed. Mails usually despatched on this day will be closed at 5.30 a.m. on Ist. A counter delivery of correspondence will be made on Saturday evening December 30th, between 9.15 and 10.15 p.m. Telegraph Office : Open from 9to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for despatch after 8 p.m. to be handed in at back entrance Telephone .Exchange : Open from 8 a.m. to midnight (continuously).
