Monthly Meeting.

The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust was held last evening. There were present: Messrs C. E. Daniell (chairman), J; A. Renall, T. B. Michell, E. Feist, and T. Wagg. Mr Hessey was granted leave of absence.

A letter was received from Messrs Hollings and Prondevillo, claiming on behalf of the executors of the Carey estate that the land and improvements be re-valued' and submitted to auction in one block, the cost of re-valuation to bo borne by the Trustees.

After discussing tho matter, it was decided that tho property be offered again.

It was decided that the whole of the Town Hall loan of £2000 be re-borrowed on its maturing. It was pointed out that this would release the sinking fund at present on deposit, ona'bling the Trust to pay off tho bank overdraft: Tho V.M.C.A. woro granted a rebate of 33s on tho rent of the Town Hall for the recent concert. Accounts amounting to £29 3s 2d were passed for payment.
