MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL. In the matter of "' The Counties Act, 1856," and of " The . Local Elections Act, 1904." I HEREBY give public notice that a General Election of Councillors for the Mauriceville County—that is, three for the East Riding and three for the West Riding —will be held on Wednesday, the Bth day of November, 1905. And I hereby appoint the County Office, Mauriceville, as the place, and Wednesday, the Ist day of November, 1905, as the time, for the nomination of candidates. Nomination papers can be got at the Post Oflice, Mauriceville West, or from the undersigned, at Dreyer's Rock-road, Mauriceville. Nomination papers must be signed by two electors of the Riding and the candidate, ancl be delivered to me, or be addressed to me and delivered at the place aforesaid, at any time after the publication of this notice and before noon of the said day of nomination. The number of Councillors required for each Riding is as follows : — East Riding Three West Riding Three Nominations of candidates will be received if addressed to the undersigned, at the County Office, Te Nui (where forms of nominations can be obtained) up to noon on Wednesday, the Ist November, 1905. Candidates' names must appear on the County Electoral Roll, also the proposer's and seconder's names must appear on the Electoral Roll of the Riding for which the nomination is made. A.
