ALLEGED CATTLE-STEALING.

Carterton, This Day,
At the Police Court, yesterday, a man named W. M. Smith surrendered himself on a charge which he had heard, when in Australia, was out against him for cattle-stealing. He was remanded by the presiding Justices for a week, bail being allowed in two sureties of £50 each.
