In the matter of " Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and of ."The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and tho Acts amending the same respectively. $j THE Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of Five Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-two Pounds for tho following purposes :—-Footpath construction, kerbing, channelling and improvements, £5192. And to make an annual-recurring Special Rate of 7-32nds of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borougli as security for the Interest and Sinking Fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of December, 1926. In is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys tho cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of Six Thousand One Hundred and Forty-seven Pounds for the following purposes: — Street improvements, bridges culverts, and urgent works ... £3,917 Grading Mill Stream, culverts, piping, etc., £1,000 Extension of water mains for fire extinguishing purposes and installation of electric fire alarms £1,200 Total £6,117 And to make an annually-recurring Special Rate of 5-19ths of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the Interest and Sinking Fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be re-payable on the 31st day of December, 1926. It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest of tho loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of four thousand one hundred and eleven pounds for the following purposes : Street and road construction and improvements, £4,111. And to make an annually recurring special rate of 11-6-lths of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be re-payable on the 31st day of December, 1926. It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan, and the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of two thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds for the following purposes : Street widening and extensions, £2850. And to make an annually recurring special rate of 2-17ths of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of December, 1926. It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan, and the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of one thousand pounds for the following purposes: Public Baths and Park, £1000. And to make an annually recurring special rate of 1-21 th of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of December, 1926. It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan, and the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of Four Thousand Pounds for the following purposes —New Gasholder, Extension of Mains, Shifting Purifiers, Pump, Contingencies, and Preliminary Expenses and First Year's Charges, £4000; and to make an annually recurring special rate of l-oth of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough, as security for the Interest and Sinking Fund in connection with such Loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of December, 1926. It is proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. The Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of One Thousand Seven Hundred Pounds for the following purposes : Road Machinery, including Roller and Scarifier, Stone-breaker, Watercart, etc., £1700. And to make an annually recurring special rate of 7-96ths of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be re-payable on the 31st day of December, 1926.
