Moana Nursery.—Port Arthur, 1; Oreillct, 2 ; B?nbow, 3. Twenly-one others started. Betting: 7to 4 against Orcillet, Bto 1 Port Arthur. AVon by three lengths. Time, sec.

Eclipse Stakes.—Marvel Loch, 1; Boabdil, 2. Seven others started. Betting: 7 to -1 against Boabdil, 4 to 1 Emir, 8 to i Marvel Loch. Marvel Loch led into the straight, where Emir caught her, and, drawing away, passed the post a length to good. On returning to the scales, Ross, Emir's jockey, was unable to draw the weight, and the race was awarded to Marvel Loch. Time, 2min 22^sec. An enquiry was held by the Stewards. Both the trainer and rider were acquitted of any suspicious practices, but the trainer was warned to be more careful in future, not only for his own sake, but for the public, who lose money by such incidents.

Australian Hunters' Cup.—-Middlorise, 1; Tangiers, 2 ; Anyhow, 3. Betting—s to 1 lliddlerise, who won easily.
