Robert Douglas, aged forty, son of the late Sir Robert Douglas, of Glenbervie, fell from a karaka tree, on Monday, while cutting branches for cattle. He was found unconscious by his wife. He developed brain trouble and died last night. He leaves a widow and a young family.
