The office hours for telegraph work, at Masterton, are from 9 a.m. to 5 p r m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight daily, Sunday excepted. Sundays from 5 to 5.31) p.m. Holidays from 9 am. to 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange is open from 8 a.m. to midnight daily, Sundays excepted, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, when the hours are 9 to 10 a.m. only. POSTAGE TO AUSTRALIA. The postage on letters to the Australian coionies has been reduced to one penny for each J ounce or fraction thereof.
