The Auditor.General asks the Borough Council to show cause why the Councillors who sanctioned the expenditure of £870 on the concrete bridge and fire brigade furnishings from the Water Works Loan should not be held jointly liable for repayment. The matter has been referred to the Borough Solicitor.
