THE GREAT BOULDER MINE.
A Royal Commission's Report.
Some Scathing Aspersions and
Implications.
(Received To-day, at 10.11 a.m.)
Perth, This Day.
The report of the Royal Commission in connection with the Great Boulder and Perseverance mines is a lengthy document. It finds that it has been tbe policy of the Directors to religiously prevent any information as to the working and true position of the mine becoming known, and keeping many important matters from the knowledge of the shareholders. It would appear that the Chairman of Directors, Mr Frank Gardner, and some of the Directors have, throughout, advanced their own interests, and shown an utter disregard of the interests of the shareholders. It makes recommendations for preserving the interests of the shareholders in the mines, and preventing the recurrence of the abuses which were disclosed at the enquiry.
