Humane Jap Bullets.

In the Russlfe Slovo, of St. Petersburg, a Russian army doctor, who signs himself " M.," pronounces the Japanese army bullets to be the humanest yet invented. Many soldiers survive after having even their brain 3 pierced.

"The Japanese bullet," says this authority, " penetrates the tissues, but never lacerates them. . . . Injuries in the abdomen are trivial. . . . The tough metal coating of the bullet is mainly responsible for this."
