(The span ot the bridge to the centre of the towers is 220 f t; total length of bridge, 226 ft; width over trusses, 14ft; roadway between wheel guards, 10ft) .- — Cables, special tested, etc., £SU 13s 9d ; ironbark, 88,200 ft, £588 0s 8d ; totara, 11,250 ft, £121 0s 4d ; ironwork, 9r] tons, £306 0s 2d ; paint, tar, etc., £25 2s 6d; excavation in rock for anchors and piers, £101 10s ; cement for ditto, £148 0s 4d ; gravel for concrete, mixing, etc, £117 ; timber for hut, storeroom, etc., £51 14s 4d ; wages, £506 0s 9d ; approaches, £50 10s ; hire of plant, £30.; total, £2384 12s 10d.
