For Palmerston North and Wanganui at 5.30 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. daily. For New Plymouth and Auckland at 5.30 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. daily. For Napier and Gisborne at 11.15 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. MASTERTON TELEGRAPH HOURS. The office hours for telegraph work, at Masterton, are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight daily, Sunday excepted. Sundays from 5 to 5.30 p.m. Holidays from U a m. to 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnignt. Telephone Exchange is open from 8 a.m. to midnight daily, Sundays excepted, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, when the hours arc 9 to 10 a.m. only. POSTAGE TO AUSTRALIA. The postage on letters to the Australian coionies has been reduced to one penny for oach i ounce or fraction thereof.
