Grand National Meeting.

Following are to-day's results :—
Hunt Club Gup, about 2£ miles.— Te Kohau 1, Rowlock 2, Craigmore 3. Scratched— Eurus and Mohowhiti; Won by six lengths. Time, smin 29 3-ssee. Dividend, £5 3s.
Sumner Handicap, 1£ mile.—The Mohican 1, Bayonet 2," Shellfire 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, 2min s_sec. Dividends, £5 5s and £d ss.
August Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Brighton 1, Flower o' Clutba 2, Ability 3. All started. Won by three quarters-of a length. Time, lmin 23sec. Dividends, £6 10s Gd and £1 10s Gd.
Grand National Hurdle Race, about 2 miles.—Meuallius 1, Hippowai 2, Scottish Minstrel 3. All started. Hautapu showed the way for half the distance, Slow Tom, Victor 11., Scottish Minstrel, and Hippowai being the nearest attendants. Six furlongs from home Victor 11. led from Zealous, Tupara and liuku, with Lissa, Scottish Minstrel,, and Merry Boy next. Tupara got to the front at the half-mile "post, with Tahai, Huku, and Scottish Minstrel nearest. Quite half the field had good chances when they reached the last hurdle, where Tahai tell. A desperate finish resulted in Medallius winning by a head, with Scottish Minstrel a head away third. Next in order, still separated by heads only, came Tupara, Huku, Merry Boy, and Cutherioo Gordon. Time, -lmin 1 8 ssec. Dividends, £1-1 3s and IM ss.
Beaufort Steeplechase, 2!- miles.— Phaetonitis 1, Haydn 2, Sultana 8. Scratched—Pi pi and Crespin. Won by two lengths. Time, fmiin lGsec. Dividends, £2 lis and 17s Gd. Islington Handicap, 1 milo.— Ca.me Chiel 1, Secret Society 2, Waitarero 8. Scratched—Eleka. Won by a length. Time, lmin 51 8 ssec. Dividends, £1 10s and £1 2s Gd.
Second Hunters' Hurdles, I{\ mile.—Hawera 1, Early Van 2. Wonderful 8. Andy Regan, Barlock and Nicola wero scratched. Won easily by a length from Eur us who was disqualified for not drawing weight. Time, Bmm -Usee. Dividends, £6 lis and £1 Hs Gd.
Woolston Plate, G furlongs.— Elibauk 1, Muscovite 2, Sophistic
8. Scratched—Bonbeur, Warwick and Kelpy. Won by a head. Time, lmin 2-2 2 seec. Dividends, £2 Os Gd and £1 2s.
No tickets were taken on tho winners of the double, Grand National Steeplechase and Hurdles, but two investors on the winning double— August Handicap and National Hurdles—received £219 12s each.
