The Land Campaign.
Capture of Wolf's Hill.
(Received To-day, at 7.32 a.m,) London, Last Night.
Two nights' desperate fighting toolplace at the capture of Wolf's Hill. The crest of the position, which was three hundred yards high, was entrenched and defended by quick-firers.
A breach was eventually effected in the shelter trenches, and the infantry appearing on the summit the Russians retired.
The Russians abandoned two Maxim guns taken from a Japane.o steamer sunk in the " bottling-up" of Port Arthur.
