Damp Hands. —Many people suffer greatly during the summer months from prespiration of the hands. To remedy this wash frequently in hot water, dry. and dust with starch powder. Always dust the inside of the gloves with a little starch powder before putting them on. This helps greatly in keeping the hands dry, and prevents the prespiration from spoiling the gloves. Shock from Severe Stings.— When there is faintness give stimulants —salvolatile or brandy-and-water—and keep patient wa'm. Shock must always be quickly treated, or it may have serious results.
