CROWN REEF.
This typical draught stallion is again to be placed at the service of breeders in the Masterton district. Crown Reef has made a name for himself in the district by the high quality of his stock, and during the present season his owner ought to have little difficulty in securing a record. At the Masterton Show in 1903, in a field of thirteen yearling shown, his gets were placed first and seoond, whilst at the last Show his progeny were again successful, being placed ficst, second and third. Crown Reef comes from noted prize stock, his sire, Crown Prince, never having been beaten in the Show ring, whilst his dam, Laura Foley, ha 3 taken over twenty firsts in the principal Shows of the Colony. He is a massive horep, standing 16 hands 2 inches, with a girth measurement of 7 feet 10 inches, and has a splendid development oE muscle. His owner, Mr Thos.
