RIFLE SHOOTING.
The second of the Saturday series for Masterton Bifle Volunteer Championship was completed by the Saturday men at the Opaki range, on Saturday afternoon. Owing to the uncertain light towards the last the shooting of some of the men was rather below par. The following scores were registered :—
Following are the five leading men in the aggregate: —Pvt. Cameron, 174; Sergt. Brown, 169; Pvt. Murray, 157; Pvt. Winteringbam, 154; Corp. Easthope, 152.
