The annual meeting of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Association was held to-day in beautiful weather, and there were some 2500 people present, including the Premier, Sir J. G. Ward and party. Following were the results : — 100 Yards (junior).—Won by H. Marshall, syds, in 10 l-ssec. Half-mile Fiat.—Won on the tape by Cozens, 45yds ; Burnett, 10yds, 2. Time, 2min 8 _-ssec. ,^^^^_ on7ooinso^^^HHH^^^H-H College (flßnipionsMp, luuyds. — Won by Goodbehere, Wellington College, in 11 l-ssec. 100 Yards Flat.—Won by C. Griffiths (Byds), after a close race with the Premier's son, T. Seddon (syds) in 10 l-ssec. Boss won the Half-mile Walk in 3min 15 l-ssec, beating the standard by 4 4-ssec. H. W. King won the Long Jump, 20fc 6in.

Henderson, owing 15yds, won the 120 yds Hurdles in 19 l-ssec from Thompson, owing 10yds, and takes Tancred's cup. B. Goodbehere, Wellington College, won the Quarter-mile College Championship in 56sec. Iv the 220 yds Handicap, T. Sfcubbs, on scratch, just beat T. Seddon, 10yds, in 23 l-ssec (2-ssec under the standard), and takes P. Nathan's cup.

Walther (Te Aro) won the 100 yards Public Schools Championship in 12 2-osec.

In the mile race Simpson started, and though he broke the standard, finishing in 4min 41sec, finished third to Blundell (100 yds) and de Lamare (70yds). Blundell won easily by some yards in 4min 84 2-ssec. H. Thompson (25yds) won the quarter mile, easily, in 52sec from H. King (28yds). The high jump was won by W. Taylor, sft oUn, including six inches of handicap. VI. H. Brewer won putting the weight, 35ft Un, including a handicap of six feet. H. W. Ring won H. D. Bell's cup for the most points at the meeting, and Eoss, Blundell and Cozens tied for L. Tripp's cup for the running and walking events.
