Palmerston North, This Day.

On Saturday Mr W. Just, nurseryman, shipped the first instalment of a large consignment of New Zealand trees and ferns, to a noted -Continental house —Waldeman Nicolas, of Saxony. Thirtyone trees averaging 6 feet high, which were sent were valued at £20 apiece landed in Saxony. Further shipments of pungaa will be sent by following steamers.
