Sentence of the Accused.

Paris, February 7,

Sentence has been passed on the Englishmen concerned in the recent Paris robberies. Wilson and Mabon have been sentenced to five years' imprisonment, and Smith and Howard to four years'. [The four Englishmen were arrested on November 4th last in connection with the robbery of £16,000 sterling from the Northern Franco railway m Paris in March, 1900. Various other robberies, amounting to £80,000, chiefly from banks, were afterwards traced to the accused. |
