Heavy rain marred the sport at Saturday's races. Tho Oakleigh Plate resulted : —Silenus, 1; Fisiphone, 2 ; English Rose, 3. Twenty-five started. Betting: 4 to 1 Lady Doris, 7 to 1 Silenus, 10 to 1 English Rose. Silenus took command entering tho straight, and won in the face of blinding rain by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 14sec.
