A liberal reduction in the price of every article in the entire stock is what the D.I.C. (Wellington) Summer Clearance Sale means. The Sale is now in its second week, and the momentum it has gathered has been marvellous; from the country,particularly, the response has been more than anticipated. The bargains are generous—and designedly so—because the Company has immense quantities that must be cleared out before new Winter goods are opened up. To specially name some choice bargains would be to experience some difficulty, but it is safe to say that better value is impossible in ready-made costumes and skirts, washing fabrics, silks, house-linen.
