Royal Message to Australia.

Melbourne, This Day.

Lord Northcotc, replying to addresses of welcome from public bodies, after referring to the warmth of the welcome received in the various States, delivered a message from the King to the people of Australia. His Majesty desired him to say how vivid and lasting his recollection continues of their splendid services to the rest of the Empire in its hour of trial during the lata war, and his thanks for the enthusiastic welcome to the Prince and Princess of Wales during their recent visit. Lord Northcose said the King had watched with deep interest and confident hope the development of each great national movement. Every constitutional process for linking together the Erupiro was enthusiastically regarded by the Sovereign.
