THE OUTLOOK IN FIJI.
Sir Henry Jackson's Views.
(Received To-day, at 1.1 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. Sir Henry Jackson, Governor of Fiji, is at present visiting Sydney. He will return to his Colony to-day. He speaks optimistically of the condition and prospects of Fiji. His personal opinion is that the movement for federation with New Zealand is dead.
He confirms the denial of the rumour that any scheme is afloat for the acquisition by Germany of Tonga.
