Stringent Dealing With Sly Urog-Selling.

The following sentences have been passed in the King Country sly grog cases :—Richard Burnett (two charges), fined £20 on the first, and convicted on the second and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon ; Patrick MeKeever and Henry Silvius, charged together on two informations, convicted on each charge and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon; Patrick McKeever (three charges), fined £30 on the first charge, and convicted on the other two; Honry Silvius (one charge of selling), fined £30; Robort Allen (three charges), 'sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour on each charge, the first two terms to run concurrently; George Self (three charges), sentenced on the first charge to one month's imprisonment with hard labour, I and convicted on the other two; William Fairclough (three charges), fined £20 on the first, and on the second ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
