THE BLACK FAMILY.
The above clever combination of vocalists and instrumentalists will appear in the Masterton Town Hall on Wednesday next, after having concluded a very successful season iv the Empire City, where the entertainment was under the patronage of Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, and patronised by the elite of the City. Musical families are not rare, but a family whose individual and collective skill equals that displayed by the Black Family is very seldom met with. The Company had the honour of giving an entertainment before their Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales, and suite, during the reception held in Dunedin, on the occasion of the Royal visit in 1901. The programme is a varied one, and as popular prices are to be charged a bumper house should greet them in Masterton. The box plan is open at Mr J. P. Elliot's establishment.
