To-Day's Shooting.

The shooting at 700 yds in the Canterbury Match opened in unfavourable weather, entirely upsetting marksmen; and the scoring all aiong the line, so far, has been iudifferent. The Canterbury match closed with Paterson (Hawera), still at top, with a score of 80. The character of the shooting can be gauged by the fact that scores of 69 came into the prize list with 67 for the tyros.
