FITZMAURICE GILL DRAMATIC COMPANY.

Miss Fitzmaurice Gill opens with her Dramatic Company, under the direction of Mr Geo. Abbott, at the Masterton Town Hall to-morrow night. Their first production is that great work " The Sign of the Cross," by Wilson Barrett, produced by special arrangement with Mr J. C. Williamson. It is a piaffe great power and has met with success all the world over. Magnificent scenery has been specially procured, and the public can look forward to something out of the ordinary.

" Man to Man " is advertised for the second night's performance. This is a melodrama very much above the usual standing. The exceptional stage effects, such as Portland Prison, and the great railway collision, are beyond anything yet attempted here.

" The Christian," by Hall Came, will be the third and last production, and this piece has a reputation second to none.

The Company is a very strong combination, consisting of twenty-nine artists, Miss Fitzmaurice Gill and Mr Chas. Blake taking the lead on their rerespective sides. Other principal parts are played by Miss Diana Cooper, Miss Kate Gair. Miss Nellie Mylrea, Miss G. Esdaille, Miss Madge Roberts, Miss Buby Oliver, Mr Leo. De Chateau, Mr Gus. Neville, Mr ft. Julian, Mr Lionel Walshe, Mr W. B. Leon, Mr Chas. Lawrence, Mr Horace Cooper, and Mr Edward ivev.
