THE CIRCUS.

To-morrow evening, Fitzgerald Bros' big show will open in Masterton for one night only, and the huge enclosure is sure to bo crowded with an audience representative of all parts of Wairarapa. Besides the circus there will be a menagerie of wild animals, so that the combined show should prove a most comprehensivo public attraction. One of the startling acts will be that known as the- wonderful " cycle whizz," performed on an angle of 65 degrees, and 80 laps to the mile. This act is said to bo one of thrilling interest, during which tho audience almost holds its breath in apprehension of an accident whiui appears almost inevitable. Among the special features of the equestrian ring arc the six beautiful black Hungarian horses, Master Bortio, great aorial trapczist, the Leon Family of acrobats, tumblers, riders, etc., Madame Amelia, the lady trapczist, the noted war-horse St. Just, a number of groat animal acts, including tiger riding on horseback, lion and elephant riding on a tricycle.' The " smallest horse in the world" will doubtless prove a groat attraction for the children, as altogether, a splendid evening's programme will be offered for the one night on which the big show will exhibit in Masterton.
