THUNDERSTORM AT PLIMMERTON.
An Alarming Visitation
(By Ttlegraph — Press Association). Wellington, This Day. The residents of Plimtncrton were terrified, last evening,by a blinding lightning flash, followed by a tremendous explosion, which shook the buildings violently. A number of telegraph poles were splintered to atoms, but, ao far, no further damage is reported.
