A gang of thieves are robbing discharged soldiers between Ladysmith and Maritzburg.
Stringent immigration restrictions are being enforced at Beira. Fifty Greeks and Austrians were not
, allowed to proceed to Ehodesia, the of Mines, at Salisbury, stating 'that they were undesirable residents. Many ingenious robberies havo been perpetrated at Johannesburg. In one case, a bag containing five hundred sovereigns was stolen from a safe in the National Bank, being replaced with a bag of foreign coins.
