We aro in rccoipt of a copy of tho bclancoshoot of tho N.Z. Cattlo Breeders' Association from Mr James Btuckey, the Hon. Secretary. Volumo IV. of the Herd Book has just been published. It extends to 108 pages, and great caro bus boon takon by tho Hon. Secretary in producing it in as porfoct and accurate a form a possible. Tho annual mooting of tho Association will bo hold at l'almorston North on Friday, tho 19th proximo. Tho growth and development of this Association is of importances not only to this district, but to tho Colony goncrally, and to Australia, which is supplied by it with pure-bred stock. It is ono of thoso enterprises, originating in this neighbourhood, that has been a marked success.
