Tho King, was operated on on Saturday, and made satisfactory progress towards recovery, but a recrudescence of the malady necessitated a further operation to-day. A later messago states that the King 'is suffering from peritonitis. It is expected that the Coronation will bo postponed for an indefinite period. Tho news spread universal consternation. Hundreds of thousands aro thronging the streets inspecting the decorations.
