It was decided to take no action in the matter. In reference to fixing the special rate to cover the drainage loan the Clerk mentioned that the Mayor, proposed to lix two oil rates on two loans of .fcIOOO each, but owing to his absenci; it was decided to consider the matter at the special meeting to he held to deal with the drainage by-laws.
