Tho atlontion of thu Premier has been callod to thu cuso of the passougor by tho Nineveh, who was transferred whilo that vessel was in quarantine to tho Moann, and sailed for Amories without the permission of tho quarantine authorities. It appears that tho passougor was prossingly desirous not to bo detained in Sydney till tho sailing of tho noxt American stoamor. 110 communicated with the Amoricau Consul, and asked Iho Inttor to interview tho president of tho Board of Health.
By further persistant oft'orts, bo succeeded in gottiug placed aboard tho Moann, though ho was not allowed to como lo Sydnoy. Groat secrecy wns maintained with regard lo the whole business. It is further stated that anothor of tho Nineveh's pnssongors was allowed to leavo quarantine boforo the regulation period oxpirod.
