A UCTIONEERS' MEMORANDA.
Mcsßrs I'. H. Wood und Sous held thoir usual weekly sale at the Taratahi yards, yesterday (Thursday), on account of Tuesday being a holiday. There was a very fair yarding of slice]! and cattle, and a good attendance of buyers, bidding for nil lines was keen, all sheep finding ready sales. Nearly all the cattle tonnil purchasers under the hammer, only two pens being paised. Fat ewes gold at 8s -Id to 7s Id; forward lambs, 7s lid; a pen of 110 lambs, 7a Id; shorn store owes, 7a; store cows, <l!)s; yearling steers, 35s to 30s; a line of 70 calves, 255. The auctioneers draw special attention to their next week's stock sales as follows:—Tuesday at Taratahi; Wednesday at Mr l'hnray.yn's, Tauhercnikau; Thursday at Messrs Wratton Bros.Martinborough; and Friday at Greytown yards, (or all of which largo entries arc advertised,
