UNION OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCHES.

A division was takeu to-night in the Presbyterian Synod on the question of union with the northern church, when the motion that the Synod proceed to consider seriatim, the articles of the basis of nnion was earned by eighty-three votes■: to forty-seven. The Synod will proceed to-morrow to consider the basis olause by clause.
